Interactions Of Esomeprazole Tablets With Alcohol And Food?

Alcohol results in an increase in acid causing irritation in the stomach lining. Esomeprazole tablets can be taken alongside alcohol but it may cause increased side effects.

You can take these tablets with food or on an empty stomach.

Any Interactions Of Esomeprazole Tablets With Other Drugs or Multivitamin Tablets?

Avoid taking Esomeprazole tablets with any medicine containing nelfinavir.

Before you take Esomeprazole tablets, it is important that your doctor knows if you are already taking any other medications, including:

  • Atazanavir or saquinavir
  • Clopidogrel
  • Ketoconazole, itraconazole or voriconazole
  • Erlotinib
  • Citalopram, imipramine or clomipramine
