Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question ? we're here to help

What is Telfast?

Telfast tablets contain the active ingredient fexofenadine hydrochloride, which is an antihistamine. Telfast 120mg tablets are used in adults and adolescents of 12 years and older to relieve allergy symptoms, such as sneezing, itching, runny or blocked nose, and itchy, red or watery eyes.

The active ingredient in your tablets is Fexofenadine hydrochloride, which belongs to a group of medicines called antihistamines. It can be used to relieve the symptoms of hay fever and allergies.

Allergy symptoms can occur at specific times of the year and be caused by allergy to pollen from grass or trees (hay fever), or they can occur all year round and be caused by allergy to animals, house-dust mites or moulds to name some of the most common. Always buy medication from a reputable, trusted online pharmacy.

Order your hay fever treatment ahead of time online and buy Telfast tablets online so they are delivered to you.

How do you take Telfast?

If you buy Telfast tablets you should always take them exactly as your doctor has told you. If you are unsure, ask your doctor or use our free Ask-A-Pharmacist service before taking any tablets.

The recommended dose is one tablet (120 mg or 180 mg) daily. Take your tablet with water before a meal. This medicine starts to relieve your symptoms within 1 hour and lasts for 24 hours.

If you forget to take Fexofenadine Tablets do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten tablet. Take the next dose at the usual time as prescribed by your doctor.

Other treatments for hay fever include nasal sprays and eye drops. Allergy UK has more tips on managing hay fever.

What is hayfever?

Hay fever is usually worse between late March and September, especially when its warm, humid, and windy. This is when the pollen count is at its highest. Hay fever is a form of seasonal allergies that are very common, especially in the summer months. The cause is not always known but is often related to pollen from certain grass and trees.

What are the symptoms of hay fever?

Symptoms of hay fever include:

  • sneezing and coughing

Interactions with alcohol and food?
