You should check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure, you can also refer to the Atrovent inhaler patient information leaflet that will come in the box when you buy an Atrovent inhaler.

Adults should use one or two puffs to be inhaled three or four times daily. Sometimes up to four puffs at a time may be taken.

See your doctor straight away if you feel that your Atrovent inhaler is not working as well as usual, or you need to use the Atrovent inhaler more than your doctor has recommended.

To use the Atrovent inhaler you should:

  • Remove the cap from the mouthpiece.
